Apple has determined that “under very rare circumstances” the screens on the aluminum models of the Apple Watch Series 2 and Apple Watch Series 3 may form a crack (as shown in the image). As such, they are offering a free screen replacement program for selected models (this of course doesn’t apply to cracks due to impact force or not being careful with your Apple Watch though).

As some of you may know already, the Apple Watch Series 2 was finally released in Malaysia last week after the iPhone 7 & 7 Plus craze. But remember that Apple Watch Nike+ that Apple also mentioned at their event last month? That's right, we just got an official date of the wearable from Apple. Launching in 38 countries worldwide, including Malaysia, the Apple Watch Nike+ will be released on 28 October 2016.

Asides from tearing down the Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, the folks at iFixit also took a look at the Apple Watch Series 2 revealing easier to repair connectors, a lot of water proofing glue, the built-in GPS, NFC and a 273 mAh battery (for the 38mm version). The innovative water resistant speaker apparently allows water to fill in then vibrates to pump the water out. However, all this glue and tiny tri-point screws result in a repairability score of 6 out of 10 for a fairly difficult repair the next time you need to replace its battery.

Apple's WWDC keynote September 2016's rumors and hype are finally ended here. We have seen the new IOS 10 updates, Apple Watch Series 2, and also the most anticipated iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. But most people doesn't have the time and energy to watch the whole event, especially those who living here in Malaysia.
