vivo’s first entry into the foldable smartphone category is the industry’s open secret at this point in time. In fact, the upcoming device, named ‘vivo X Fold’ has even received certification, as per our report last week.

Now, it seems that the foldable is getting even closer to its release date seeing how it may have just been spotted out in public. Currently trending on Chinese social media platform Weibo, a foldable device that looks exactly like the leaks of the X Fold was spotted at a Chinese subway station.

After teasing Android 12L last year, Google has finally released the optimised Android 12 version for tablets and foldable display smartphones last Monday (7 March 2022). However, the official release was a bit awkward, given how there’s no actual tablet or foldable device hardware to run Android 12L on currently.
