This week has been a messy one for the Malaysian government. On the first day of October 2024, it was announced on the MyJPJ app that it would be compulsory to log in with MyDigital ID. The process wasn't smooth, as users encountered errors which led to a U-turn, for now.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook today announced that all airlines must provide mandatory full refunds to passengers of flights delayed by 5 hours or more. This new regulation will come into force starting this 2 September.

Despite the supply chain issues, it's reported that Apple is still on track to launch the iPhone 14 series in mid-September. The tech giant didn't mention anything about pandemic-related delays in the earnings report for the June quarter, so everything should still be going well.

Initially, the first delay was scheduled for 22 June but now it has been pushed back once again to 7 July 2022 (PDT). This has been officially confirmed by Blizzard Entertainment. 

Despite that many smartphones are rumoured to feature the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ made by TSMC, the chip could still face delay. According to reputable tipster Digital Chat Station, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ would only arrive by the second half of 2022.

The Sony PlayStation VR is almost a 6-year-old device after launching in 2016. Back in January, the company had announced the plan for presenting the successor and showcased the design a month later. Although Sony didn't specify anything regarding the official launch date, many have chosen to believe it will sit somewhere this year. However, it might not be true, as someone claims it'll only come in 2023.

Today, Electronics Arts (EA) has announced that they have delayed the plan to launch Apex Legends on mobile devices to a further date. Earlier this year, it was reported that the gaming company will be launching the mobile version of the popular game in late 2020, but it looks like it's not happening now.

As we're getting closer to the launch date of Sony PlayStation 5, many are worried if the gaming console is going to make it on time. As announced by Sony, the upcoming PS5 is supposed to be launched in the U.S. on 12 November and elsewhere on 19 November. However, the Internet has found out that the "Launches in holiday 2020" text has been taken down from most South East Asian sites.

Big fans of CD Projeck Red (CDPR) were recently disappointed when the developer announced that its next big game was being delayed. The release date of Cyberpunk 2077 has been moved to 19 November 2020, making this the second time it's been delayed. But it's not all bad news, as this delay could coincide with the launch of next-gen consoles.
