A new survey on mobile phone security habits and sentiments found that 49% of Android users are considering switching to Apple’s iPhone due to a ‘perceived superiority’ the latter has in security and privacy. The survey, conducted by Beyond Identity also found that 76% of Apple users feel more secure with iOS.

Reliable tipster on everything relating to Apple, Ming-Chi Kuo is at it again. This time, the serial leaker is spilling the beans on a potential under-display Touch ID on the iPhone.
Previously, Kuo said that an adoption of the technology might be coming in 2023, but it seems that he have retracted that prediction. This is because according to his latest survey, Apple may only be adopting under-display fingerprint sensors in 2025 at the earliest.

When it comes to security, most Apple products rely on Face ID. The technology uses a TrueDepth camera system to create a detailed 3D map of the user's face, which allows it to "remember" the user for activities such as unlocking the phone and making purchases. However, there are some new products including the iPhone SE (2020) and the entry-level iPad are still using Touch ID for such purposes. It's reported that Apple might change that soon by equipping all of its future products with Face ID.

When we were sleeping last night, Apple has finally announced the date for their highly-anticipated event where they're going to launch the iPhone 12 series. The event is scheduled to go live on 14 October at 1 AM Malaysia time.
