Due to the Movement Restriction Order, Astro has officially announced that they will be offering free movie channels for all Astro customers from now until 31 March 2020 at 11:59PM. All these movie channels will also be available for viewing on the Astro Go app which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or the iOS App Store.

As more online social platforms adapt dark mode, the next one in the list is WeChat. According to sources, the WeChat team from China announced on Weibo that the beta test for Android users is already completed. As for Apple iOS users, the dark mode update is in the plans for the next update (whenever that is).

Earlier today, Google has announced that “Dark Mode” is officially supported by the Google Play app, which can be enabled by any smartphone that’s running the Android operating system. However, do note that the feature will be rolled out slowly and it will not be available on every Android smartphone at the same time.

Covid-19 is here to haunt us in 2020. Just today, Italy has come to a decision of locking down the country as 9,000 and more people have been diagnosed with the virus. Not only Italy, but the cases in our country have also been increasing recently. Now, Google is trying to do something to help out the situation, as it is calling businesses to update their status on Google Maps to let the public know if they are affected.

Based on data compiled by Bank My Cell, it seems that Android smartphones tend to depreciate up to 59.41% which is more twice compared to Apple which depreciates the lowest at only 25.98% after one year. But that’s not all, the value of both the devices will drop up to 45.46% and 71.41% for Apple and Android smartphones respectively the following year which is quite steep.

Today, Google have announced that Google Assistant can now read whatever news articles aloud. Known as "Read It", the update will roll out later this year and soon Android users will be able to command Google Assistant to do so and it's fluent in 42 languages. All the user has to do is just say "Hey Google, read it" or "Hey Google, read this page".
