After its recent launching, the folks at honor Malaysia have officially announced the Malaysia pricing for the honor 5X and honor 7 Enhanced Edition smartphones. The honor 5X will be going for RM899 for the grey and silver versions while the more premium metallic front gold version will be priced at RM939. Both are currently not available yet, but you can register your interest for the honor 5X.

The honor 7 Enhanced Edition offers a more premium metallic front look with NFC and 32GB internal storage for RM1499. This is quite the value buy over the RM1399 priced honor 7 which already offers excellent performance in its own right. honor Malaysia are stirring up the smartphone market again by bringing in the honor 5X which was officially announced for Malaysia today. Looking much like a larger 5.5-inch display honor 7 without the customizable Smart Key and infra-red blaster, the honor 5x looks more premium with a brushed metal back. Coming along for the ride is the honor 7 Enhanced Edition which features bigger 32GB storage. The honor 7 Enhanced Edition also looks more premium with shiny metallic front bezels in gold. No pricing details or release dates for the two smartphones yet but the honor Band Z1 smartwatch was also launched as well for RM259.

Flagship smartphones are generally faster, have more features and usually cost a lot more than what you’d normally pay for a smartphone. However, things are changing and smartphone manufacturers are now coming out with smartphones that not only offer flagship features but do so at more affordable price points. At just RM1399 the honor 7 is honor’s flagship featured smartphone coming with a metal build, fingerprint sensor and 20MP rear camera. Does it equal or better more expensive flagship smartphones? It looks like honor are beefing up their honor 7 range by bringing in their honor 5x and honor 7 Enhanced Edition smartphones along with the honor Band Z1 to Malaysia. No exact Malaysia price details except for the honor band Z1 for RM259 just yet, but with the honor 7 still officially priced at RM1399 we expect the honor 5 to be less while the honor 7 enhanced will be a bit more than that.
