While Huawei was showing off all the new products - the P40 series, Watch GT 2e, and an AI speaker - the company also showcased their own personal AI assistant called Celia. It seems that Celia will be used for the global more instead of China, as the video teaser showed that it can speak in French and translate foreign text on the spot.

We are just about a month away from Huawei's upcoming flagship, the P40 series to be unveiled. But before that, the company recently held a launch in London showcasing their latest technology pieces such as the NetEngine 8000 Series Intelligent, a monetization solution for 5G and more.

Starting from the Mate 30 series onward, they won't be able to use any Google mobile services (GMS) but according to new insights from Fred Wangfei, a Huawei executive, he said that the company probably won't return to using GMS even if the ban is lifted by the US government.

In this breaking news, the long-rumoured "HongMeng" OS by Huawei has finally come to light and it's officially known as HarmonyOS. Chinese manufacturer Huawei announced that they will be free of US technology by 2021. Zhang Minggang, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Huawei France mentions that they will be stronger than ever by then. With all the restrictions and bans due to the trade war with the US, it’s hardly surprising that the company wants out.

YB Dr. Maszlee Malik was in Shenzhen for the closing ceremony of Huawei’s Seeds for the Future, whereas Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail visited Huawei's Beijing Research Center.

 Huawei’s HongMeng OS is expected to launch on the 9th of August at Huawei’s largest Developers Conference. It's been reported that the OS has been tested on the Huawei Mate 30 and has been tested out by a select few. 

The 9th of August is a pretty important day for Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Huawei. The company will be launching its largest global developers conference in China. What seems to be the main highlight of the event would the company’s OS, HongMeng. Many are speculating that the OS may be launched then.
