In a few hours after revealing the iPhone 15 series, a government agency (ANFR) from France decided to ban the iPhone 12 due to radiation leaks. According to a Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) test they did, Jean-Noel Barrot, a junior minister said the iPhone 12 has a slightly higher radiation than the legal figure.

Today is the first day of July and it has been 10 months since the Apple iPhone 12 series first launched globally. That said, Counterpoint Research reported that the iPhone 12 series just achieved over 100 million units sold.

Apple recently announced a new purple variant for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini so it was only a matter of time. Visiting the Apple Malaysia website, both models are now released for the same price tag starting from RM3899 and RM3399 respectively.

It's been less than a month for Malaysians to enjoy their iPhone 12 series, while some are still waiting due to supply shortages (no thanks to the pandemic), there are reports from the West about some issues on LTE/5G service and the battery drain. Looking at the reports, it looks like some bugs in iOS are responsible for the problems.

At the time of the iPhone 12 series release in Malaysia, the MagSafe accessories weren't available yet until today. We just happened to stumble upon the Apple Malaysia website and it seems that several of them are now available. It's not known when did they silently released it but here they are now.

It's not unusual for there to be issues with new products, with most being software-related. That seems to be the case for the new iPhone 12 series too, which recently became available for pre-order in Malaysia. This time around, some iPhone 12 users have reported having issues with the display.
