With the debut of the new iPhone 17 lineup in Malaysia, the official Apple Malaysia website has quietly reduced prices on its previous models. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus now come with a RM500 discount, making them more accessible than ever. Meanwhile, Apple has discontinued the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max from its official Malaysian stores, leaving only the more affordable variants in circulation.

As previously reported, Indonesia wants to ban Apple from selling the iPhone 16 series and it's now in effect. According to Bloomberg, Apple did not meet its local investments by around $15 million. With that, even the Apple Watch Series 10 and other newer Apple devices were banned as well.
