Recently, Apple users experienced an issue with their parental controls feature. The issue mentioned is the Screen Time feature for Apple. According to The Wall Street Journal, Apple acknowledged this bug and will provide extra measures to solve this problem.

Earlier this month, we reported on how Apple was successful in its patent application for an under-display Face ID technology. However, it seems that Apple would only be able to implement such a feature in 2024, making the iPhone 16 Pro potentially being the first ‘full-screen’ iPhone.

Apple has released the iOS 15.4.1 and iPadOS 15.4.1 update on all supported devices which fixes some bugs found inside the previous 15.4 version. Among the things that the update addressed is the battery drain issues faced by some users, as we’ve reported previously.

In order to get the update, users of supported Apple devices only need to go to the Settings app, select General and then Software Update. Besides releasing an update for iOS and iPadOS, Apple has also released tvOS 15.4.1, HomePod 15.4.1 and watchOS 8.5.1.

In conjunction with World Emoji Day, Apple has unveiled several new Emoji as well as Memoji for you to express yourself. To go into more detail, Memoji features new customisation options which let the user express themselves with over a thousand combination to choose from.

Recently, a bunch of images was posted on tech.sina.com which showcases the traffic statistics of a notoriously popular porn streaming website called Pornhub. Based on the images, it seems that 52.8% of the smartphone users who visit the aforementioned website are using an iOS device such as an iPhone or an iPad.

Based on a statement by Gizchina, Apple might release an iPhone smartphone that is equipped with 120Hz ProMotion OLED next year. This means that next year’s iPhone will not only be visually smooth but also feel more responsive, due to the higher refresh rate on the display.

A supply chain in China claims that Apple may be working on a more affordable version of the iPhone without their iconic Face ID. Sources say that it may instead come with an under-display (UD) fingerprint reader to keep costs low and notches smaller (a definite plus if this were to happen).

Apple finally squashed the bug that allowed users to add people into group calls and listen and see what the person in the other end is doing without answering the call. Update iOS 12.1.4 is now out on all Apple devices today.
