What can we do NOW with 5G? This is a question that many have been asking, especially when deciding to make the move to 5G or to stay with 4G. Well, the biggest advantage of mobile 5G networks is the incredibly fast Internet speed. Unfortunately, most people believe that there isn't enough content or services that actually need those 5G speeds.

But is that really true? A quick search online indicates the opposite as there are actually quite a few things that take advantage of those 5G speeds. In addition, it is also making it possible for us to do things that used to require powerful mobile devices or computers. Today, let's take a look at 3 things that we can do NOW with 5G.

We are now in the month of September and the next thing to look forward to is some new technological announcements from IFA 2020. Held annually in Berlin, Germany, it will be realme's first time attending the event and their conference is on 4 September, 12.25-13.10 CEST (UTS+2).

That being said, Is it actually worth investing in a flagship smartphone without 5G right now?

Since last November, Maxis and Gamuda signed an agreement in the provision and deployment of network infrastructure and services for twentyfive.7. This time around, both parties did another Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Maxis is to provide and deploy 5G network infrastructure and services in Gamuda Cove, which will eventually be the first 5G township when it's ready in the country.

Xiaomi and IKEA officially announced their strategic partnership recently at the annual MIDC conference. This means that IKEA's full range of smart lighting products will be connected to Xiaomi's IoT (Internet of Things) platform starting from December 2018 in China. No news when these will be available in Malaysia or for how much.
