If you're a Maxis user and frequently travel, here's an unwelcome bit of news. Maxis has recently increased the prices for some of its data roaming passes again. The company now charges users RM99 for its 15-day multi-country data pass, while the 30-day pass costs RM149.

Are you a Maxis user and have been waiting for a 5G plan? Well, the wait is finally over, as the company confirmed that it has signed an access agreement with DNB. The company will have access to DNB's 5G network on a wholesale basis, and can soon provide 5G plans to its customers.

We'll all have to switch to 5G someday. Just like how 3G was phased out, 4G would eventually be phased out too. And of course, there are good reasons why you might want to upgrade.
