WhatsApp is set to phase out support for older Android devices later this year, as part of its ongoing effort to maintain performance and introduce newer features. The change will take effect on 8 September 2026, impacting users running outdated versions of the Android operating system.

Arriving earlier than usual, Google has officially announced the stable release of Android 16. The schedule is for Q2 of 2025, with indications pointing to a potential rollout on 3 June.

If you're a heavy multi-tasker, there's nothing more convenient than being able to run multiple apps. The split-screen feature is best in that regard, but Google wants to improve its functionality with the next  Android version.

Apple today released version 15.6 of iOS and iPadOS to all supported devices, which may prove to be one of the last versions of the OS while we await the company to roll out iOS and iPadOS 16. The update brings with it minor tweaks here and there as well as various bug fixes.
