realme has teased its upcoming laptop several times but it looks like we'll be getting a more specific launching time frame this time. During the latest episode of #AskMadhav, the company's CEO Madhav Sheth revealed not only the realme GT 5G will be launched in India before Diwali, but the first set of laptops will also arrive before the end of the year.

Last week, we reported on the realme GT 5G which launched exclusively for the China market only but it will be hitting the global market by June. Today, we got another confirmation posted by realme UK’s official Twitter account on the exact global releasing date which is 15 June 2021.

The realme GT 5G launched has been exclusive to the Chinese market and it has gotten a hit throughout the global markets. Recently, we have been reporting a few statements about the device coming soon. Today, it is confirmed that the realme GT will be in the global markets in June and realme GT camera flagship in July.

realme has officially launched the realme GT 5G in China and it starts from the price of RMB2799 (~RM1753) while the RMB3299 (~RM2067) for the 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB variant respectively. While not much is known in regards to the Malaysia release date, it does give us a better idea of what to expect if it were to be available in the local market.

There has been a slew of news about the upcoming realme GT 5G smartphone lately. But nothing says "coming soon" as directly as a box reveal. Not only was the box design recently leaked, but we now know how much the base model could cost as well.

It seems that we don't even need to wait for a launch to know everything about the realme GT 5G. Frequent leaks have seen most of the phone's specs unveiled in recent weeks. But speculations of the price have also started to appear.

Last week, there was news about the realme GT 5G will launch on 4 March and it will come with leather and glass editions. According to sources, the device was confirmed to come with a 'Bumblebee leather edition' and revealed by the realme VP - Mr. Xu Qi.

A few days ago, it was confirmed that the next realme smartphones would be called the realme GT series. Initially codenamed 'realme race', the flagship series will be coming soon. In fact, it looks like there may at least be two models launched on 4 March 2021.
