Touch 'n Go (TnG) has finally announced the implementation of Near Field Communication (NFC) technology for the TnG cards. Not only that, but the government has also stated that it will soon allow the public to pay using any digital payment provider, not just TnG.

The Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (Malaysian Highway Authority) under the Ministry of Works has announced that it's ready to expand on the use of the RFID system. Beginning 1 January 2020, toll collection via RFID will be implemented on all open-tolls for Class 1 vehicles.
