vivo has officially announced that the vivo S5, which was initially launched in China yesterday, will be coming to Malaysia very soon. While we’re not sure about the exact Malaysia release date, as well as the official local pricing of the said device. We can expect the smartphone to be available anywhere between the end of November to December 2019.

A few days prior to the launch, the vivo S5 was rumoured with its Diamond-shaped rear camera setup since last week. So yesterday, the phone has officially launched in Hangzhou, China as a new mid-range tier device, featuring a Snapdragon chipset, quad rear cameras, and more from a starting price of ~RM1597. vivo recently posted up a teaser video on their account on weibo, hinting that their upcoming smartphone will be named the vivo S5. While not much is known in regards to the aforementioned device, based on the mantra of their S-series, the vivo S5 will most likely be marketed towards those who prefer a mid-range smartphone with good photo-taking capabilities.
