vivo has launched two of its highly-anticipated smartphones today, namely vivo X Fold and X Note. The duo doesn't make it difficult for the customers to choose, as one is a foldable smartphone and another one is a standard smartphone but with a large display. Just yesterday, vivo had finally confirmed that its first folding smartphone is launching on 11 April. Today, thanks to two tipsters, we are able to have the very first look at the upcoming vivo X Fold before it arrives. 

After an eternity, vivo has finally brought news regarding its first foldable smartphone. The company has posted on the Chinese social media platform Weibo mentioning that it'll make an announcement for the device on the upcoming Monday.

vivo’s first entry into the foldable smartphone category is the industry’s open secret at this point in time. In fact, the upcoming device, named ‘vivo X Fold’ has even received certification, as per our report last week.

Now, it seems that the foldable is getting even closer to its release date seeing how it may have just been spotted out in public. Currently trending on Chinese social media platform Weibo, a foldable device that looks exactly like the leaks of the X Fold was spotted at a Chinese subway station.

It looks like vivo will not be launching just one folding smartphone for the first time. According to new certification found in China, the company is preparing to present two of them, namely vivo X Fold and X Note. Although we've already heard some news about the devices, it's still exciting to know they are getting certified as it means they are very near to us.

After sharing a first look at the vivo X Fold and its specs last week, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has done one better today by posting schematics of vivo's first foldable phone. And true to the leakster’s previous claims, the schematics shows that the phone will feature a quad-camera setup.

A further look at the alleged X Fold’s schematics also reveals a punch-hole camera on the cover screen of the foldable. Furthermore, it is also consistent with Digital Chat Station’s previous claims that the X Fold will adopt the same form factor of the Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold, Huawei Mate X2 and Oppo Find N.

vivo is planning to announce its first foldable smartphone this year. Before that happens, a tipster has listed out some tech specs that could arrive with the device. Now, let's look at what we can expect from vivo's first attempt in the segment.
