Will ASUS keep the same flip-up camera for the ZenFone 7 series?

Back in May, some sources believed that ASUS might launch the ZenFone 7 series on the same day as the ROG Phone 3. That didn't happen but the actual launch may be coming soon anyway. Sources have found the Bluetooth SIG cert for two new ASUS devices, which are likely the ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro.

According to MySmartPrice, the ASUS_I002D (codename for ZenFone 7 series) was found listed on Bluetooth SIG. Of course, the certification itself doesn't tell us much. All we know is that it uses Qualcomm's Bluetooth chip and that both models - the ZS670KS and ZS671KS - will support Bluetooth 5.1. But getting certified on Bluetooth SIG usually means the device is ready for launch, so we can expect an announcement from ASUS soon.

In terms of tech specs, it's said that the ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro will use separate chipsets. Specifically, the ZenFone 7 is expected to use the Snapdragon 865 chipset while the Pro model will use the more powerful Snapdragon 865+ chipset, according to a Geekbench score. Aside from that, the ZenFone 7 Pro could come with a more RAM and storage than the standard model at 16GB and 512GB respectively.

There still isn't much known about the two phones' features, so we can't tell you how they will compare with other flagship smartphones in 2020. But what do you think about them so far? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for further updates.
