The ASUS Zenfone 6 is due to be launched next week on the 16th of May. It has some pretty significant upgrades from its predecessor, the ASUS Zenfone 5z. Among features to look out for on the device is the Snapdragon 855 chipset, the 48MP main camera, a whopping 5000mAh battery capacity and a triple card slot.

The company took to Twitter to show off the some under the hood features and tech specs that is coming to the device. Much to the delight of many, the smartphone will be shipped with an actual notification LED and a 3.5mm headphone jack situated at the bottom of the device beside the USB-C port. On the left of the phone we’ll find the triple SIM and card tray and on the right is the Smart Key, volume buttons and power button.

Over on Instagram, the company shared the Zenfone 6’s camera specs but in the form of a Morse Code which translated to a 48MP + 13MP dual camera setup and a 5000mAh battery capacity. The device has been rumoured to be released with completely no notches. Reports mentioned that the device may be released with a dual slider mechanism but after seeing renders of the smartphone’s casing, this may not be the case. A large sized cutout can be seen on the top back of the device in an interesting curved manner. In the renders, it shows off the horizontal dual camera setup on the back.

The top is left completely exposed which leads us to believe that the device may have a large pop up selfie camera which may come with either a LED flash or a dual selfie camera setup. Also on the back is a cutout for the rear mounted fingerprint scanner.
