ASUS has just shared another teaser for their upcoming device, the ASUS Zenfone 6. The teaser shows off the outline of the device with no notches, cutouts and barely there bezels.
As there’s no notch or cutouts on the display, this leads us to believe that the earlier rumour about the device coming with a dual slider or at least a one slider mechanism might be true. If not, they may just go the pop up selfie camera route which many OEMs are currently doing such as the OPPO F11 Pro, the Samsung Galaxy A80 and OnePlus 7 Pro.
Concept renders of a dual slider setup
So far, we’ve heard that the Zenfone 6 may feature a dual rear camera setup with a 48MP main sensor and 18W fast charging. In addition, the device may have tech specs which include the Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and a 1080+ display. As no official announcements have been made in regards to the features and tech specs of the device, its best to process this information with a dash of salt.
The ASUS Zenfone 6 is slated for release on the 16th of May in Valencia. A landing page for the device has been launched for the upcoming smartphone but without much information about the device other than the Snapdragon logo confirming that it will be a chipset from that maker. So what kind of mechanism would the ASUS Zenfone 6 implement on the device? For the latest news on the ASUS Zenfone 6, stay tuned to TechNave.com!
