In the last few months, there have been various rumours about new Apple Mac devices that will feature the Apple M1X chip. New devices would include a new Mac, Mac mini, and MacBook Pro. Now, sources claim to have an estimated launch window for the Mac mini.
According to Mark Gurman (via MacRumors), Apple could launch the new Apple Mac mini within the "next several months". The company is expected to give this new model a major overhaul. Previous rumours claim that it will use the Apple M1X chip, which is an improved variant of the Apple M1 chip launched last year. The Apple M1X will have more CPU and GPU cores, so users can expect a huge performance increase.

But the new Mac mini will have more than just improve tech specs. Previously leaked renders show that the new model will come with a complete redesign. Despite the smaller chassis, the new Mac mini will come with more I/O ports. Allegedly, there will be an HDMI port, Ethernet port, two USB-A ports, and a total of four USB-C ports. At least one of the USB-C ports will come with Thunderbolt 3 support too.
With how compact the Mac mini is, you could easily bring your work with you on the go, provided you have a portable screen too. But besides the above, are there other features or improvements that you wish to see on the new Mac mini? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for further updates.
