It was previously hinted that the Apple iPhone 12 series this year will come with a model that has a quad rear camera setup. Likely to be the iPhone 12 Pro Max, this model is expected to come with not only a 3D depth camera but also a larger camera sensor and sensor-shift stabilisation.

According to MacRumors, the iPhone 12 Pro Max is going to be a 6.7-inch device. The sensor-shift stabilisation tech is supposed to be applied directly to the ultra-wide-angle lens. With it, users should be able to get much better shots with that particular lens. Besides the ultra-wide-angle and 3D depth camera, the iPhone 12 Pro Max should also have a telephoto and wide-angle lens. Of the four cameras, one of them will have a pixel count of 64MP.

In other news, it is also rumoured that there would be an iPhone model that will come with a periscope lens by the year 2022. This lens is expected to be capable of 5x or even 10x optical zoom. Currently, iPhones are only capable of the standard 2x optical zoom and up to 10x digital zoom. Of course, none of the above has been officially confirmed, so take it with a grain of salt.

If you're planning to get the iPhone 12 Pro Max, then you'll appreciate the stabilisation tech here.  With that said, how much do you value lens stabilisation in a phone? Do let us know on our Facebook page! For more updates on the Apple iPhone 12, stay tuned to TechNave.com.
