Hey readers, how was your February? As you can see, we're making our best prepaid/postpaid/broadband articles a monthly thing. Most of us don't have the habit of checking for telco deals regularly, so we'll do that for you! Here's January 2023's summary for your reference.

While the monthly fees and offerings mostly won't change, sometimes plans are scrapped or are under promotion. With that said, let's check out the best mobile prepaid plans for the budget-conscious as of February 2023 and see if there's anything new.

Best prepaid options under RM30

Again, we'll start with mobile prepaid plans under RM30/month. This time, there weren't any notable promos or price changes. Those looking for a solid high-speed data plan should stick to Maxis and Digi, as both have good network coverage and speed.

Of course, that's not to say there weren't any changes whatsoever. We noticed that YTL Yes has bumped up its max wireless hotspot data cap to 12GB (from 9GB). If you are a big wireless hotspot user (for working on the go), the Yes Prepaid FT5G Unlimited is an excellent option.

You'll also notice that the new Pakej Perpaduan, which was confirmed for launch earlier this month. If you don't use much data but don't want your unused data to go to waste, these Pakej Perpaduan prepaid plans would be excellent options. You get 30GB of data for 180 days, and the leftover data can be stacked up as long as you renew the plan.
