With the Apple AirTag's launch, some companies are looking to copy it. For instance, Samsung and OPPO are big brands that are already looking into this. But there are also smaller companies with similar item tracking devices, such as Chipolo.

As spotted by Wccftech, Chipolo has recently unveiled its AirTag competitor - the Chipolo ONE Spot. This is a tracker that utilises Apple's Find My network to find your items. What's great is that it comes with a keyring hole, so you can attach items like your keys to it and make it easier to find.

Besides that, it comes with IPX5 water and dust resistance. It's not as impressive as the Apple AirTag's IP67 water resistance rating, but it should survive puddles of water or splashes. The built-in speaker is rather loud at 120dB, so you should be able to hear it even from a distance. On top of that, the ONE Spot's battery can last an entire year, so it has a pretty good value at just USD 28 (~RM116).

Of course, the brand isn't officially available in Malaysia. But its products can be found on Shopee, so you could probably get it there eventually. Having said that, would you be interested in getting one of these? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
