Two days ago, Elon Musk tweeted a poll asking if he should step down as the head of Twitter. He even said he will abide by the results so lo and behold, a majority of Twitter users voted yes and looks like he will do it.

Just an hour ago at the time of this post, Musk did a follow-up tweet and said that he will resign as CEO but not immediately. Apparently, he will do so right after the company finds a suitable candidate. That said, he won't be out of Twitter entirely, as he also mentioned that he will just lead the software and server teams.

As the final result, 57.5% of Twitter users voted yes on Musk stepping down as CEO whereas 42.5% voted no. Ever since Musk bought Twitter, it has become the hot topic of his actions on doing many questionable initiatives. This includes taking away the Blue Tick but relaunching it as a paid subscription, blocking other social media websites to prevent free promotions but making a u-turn just after a day, and others.
