So in relation to Xiaomi meeting up with Samsung in South Korea, we just got some interesting bits of Xiaomi's upcoming phone and it seems to be a powerful one. This is got the media talking that it could be the very expensive high-end smartphone that Xiaomi mentioned, plus there's also a list of insane tech-specs rumour going around.
According to the leak tech-specs from Weibo, the unknown Xiaomi phone will feature:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor
- 4GB/6GB RAM variant
- 64GB/128GB internal storage variant (expandable memory unknown)
- 5.5 inches 1080p OLED display
- 16MP rear camera with either Samsung ISOCELL S5K2L1 or the Sony IMX260 sensor
- Features fingerprint sensor
- MIUI 8
- 3700 mAh battery
With this kind of specifications, it's no wonder the Xiaomi phone is going to be expensive (if it's true) because of the OLED display, high-quality camera module and the all new Snapdragon 821 processor. Remember this is just a rumour, so do take it with a grain of salt and wait for further details, perhaps we can get more information about it on their upcoming press conference that is coming on 27 July 2016.
