Samsung Galaxy S21 could have punch-hole camera as rumoured

The rumours on the Samsung Galaxy S21 for next year have been coming in fast. There's one about the battery spec and the cameras, plus one that claims that it won't have an under-display camera. This rumour is seemingly reinforced by another source, which has revealed that it will have a single front camera under a punch-hole.

According to MyDrivers, tech enthusiast Mayur Gadhiya has shown off what he claims to be the front of the Samsung Galaxy S21. As you can see from the photos, it shows the front of a device that only has one punch-hole camera centred on the top of. My initial impression is that the size of the punch-hole seems even bigger than the recently launched Galaxy S20 FE, but it's basically the same design.

On top of the front camera, we also got to see some settings for the cameras. It shows that the front camera can take videos with a resolution of 2400x1080 at 30fps. On the back, however, is the fancy one as it can capture 8K videos (7680x4320 resolution) at 30fps. We don't see any option for slow-mo, but we assume that would be available once the firmware is complete.

Anyway, the above isn't enough to prove that the device shown is the Galaxy S21, so do take the claims with a grain of salt. But with that said, what do you think about it? Would 8K video recording be useful for you? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave.com more news like this.
