After the end of the recent Samsung Unpacked where the Samsung Galaxy S25 series was officially launched and the credits had faded, Samsung made a “surprise” reveal of their slimmer Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. Previously rumoured to have been coming as well, not much was revealed but let’s go over what we do know for now.
Quite obviously, there were no Malaysia release dates or pricing details but there were also no tech specs mentioned as well. However, from the images and video that we did manage to see from afar, the Samsung S25 Edge appears to have a shiny metal chassis with rounded corners and flat sides. There appears to be a fingerprint sensor power button on the left side while the screen has almost no bezels and a single punch hole in the top center.

Previous rumours indicated that this slimmer version would be known as the S25 Slim and would also have triple rear cameras, but the models on display instead showed a dual rear camera setup, with rather large camera bumps. Perhaps, these will be dual 50MP rear cameras, with one being an ultrawide and another being a telephoto with 3X or 5X optical zoom?
We expect other tech specs and features would be similar to the Samsung Galaxy S25+ and it may be released along with Samsung's next foldables. It should also come with the latest One UI 7 Galaxy AI features too but what do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave.com
