Xiaomi makes a lot of lifestyle devices, but this is perhaps the first time that we saw a compact sound speaker from the company. Simply called the Xiaomi Sound Move, here's what you need to know about the Bluetooth speaker.
Like most Bluetooth speakers, the Sound Move has control panels on top and can stand up to 21 hours of music playback. Using the Harman AudioEFX tuning system, the two 7.5W drivers and two passive radiators should sound great on paper, producing HiFi sound quality with a 90dB max sound pressure and 20kHz high frequency.
There's also a built-in G-Sensor that can intelligently recognise the speaker's posture. So whether it's placed horizontally or vertically, the Sound Move can adjust how the music is more concentrated. And despite being made in an aluminium casing, it only weighs 568g and is also resistant to both water and dust via an IP66 rating.

Besides connecting to tech gadgets, it can also be controlled to play music with voice commands. Xiaomi said it can be connected to up to eight devices, including other smart speakers at home with Bluetooth 5.3. Speaking of that, LHDC transmission is supported and owners may also access to other integrated well-known music apps from China.
It's currently priced at 699 Yuan (~RM450) but we don't know if Xiaomi is thinking of exporting the Sound Move to Malaysia. Anyway, you can check out the other products that Xiaomi announced last night in the list below. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
