iPhone SE 2021 concept design shows device without TouchID button

In recent weeks, we've seen rumours that Apple could launch the iPhone SE 2021 in April this year. However, analysts seem to think that a launch in 2H 2021 is more likely. Regardless, concept renderers believe that this year's model will have a full-screen display.

The people at Svetapple have released concept renders of the iPhone SE 2021, showing a device with a design similar to the iPhone 12 mini. It's suggested that the phone will have a display with very thin bezels, a punch-hole camera, and no TouchID button. As you may have noticed, that's a radical change from the design of the iPhone SE 2020. But if you consider how Apple is cutting back production volume for the iPhone 12 mini, it's not unusual if the company decides to use the iPhone SE 2021 as a sort of replacement.

Remember, these renders aren't the actual confirmed design!

Interestingly enough, the renderer believes that the device would have the same 5.4-inch OLED display that the iPhone 12 mini does. On the other hand, the previous rumour suggested that a 6.1-inch display is possible. Leaving that aside, the iPhone SE 2021 is expected to have the A14 Bionic chipset, 12MP rear camera, and 7MP front camera.

Bear in mind that these are just concept renders and may not be accurate at all. It's also hard to believe that Apple is willing to drop the notch design just yet. But with that said, let us know what you think about the design in the comments below! Also, stay tuned to TechNave for more updates on the iPhone SE 2021.
