From time to time, we would post the top Google searches by Malaysians every month with some interesting insights. As we draw closer to the end of the year, Google Malaysia released their annual Year in Search lists and from the Gadget category, realme has amazingly dominated the top searches.
From the chart below, 9 out of 10 gadgets in the Google search engine are all realme smartphones, leaving the iPhone 12 at the 5th spot. At first place, Malaysians were really curious on the realme 6 Pro and a lot of them have the keyword review in them. The following realme phones that were in the top searches are the realme x3, realme 6, realme 7 Pro, realme 5i, realme 5 Pro, realme X50 Pro and realme 5 Pro. The realme Buds Air is counted as well.
In addition, we also got to look at the Top Trending Searches in Malaysia. Malaysians were very interested in the US Election 2020, while the rest are related to our pandemic period. This includes how to set up Google Classroom, using Google Meet for online meetings, i-Lestari and others. The Bantuan Prihatin Nasional and Bantuan Sara Hidup are sitting at no.3 and no.4 respectively.
Apart from that, Malaysians were into Recipe, Financial Aid, COVID-19 terms, TV Shows and many more.
