Earlier this month, vivo unveiled its photography-focused X50 series. At the time, the company also introduced the TWS Neo earphone, a true wireless stereo model supports Hi-Res Audio. Now, vivo Malaysia has confirmed that this model will be coming to Malaysia soon.
So, what's interesting about the vivo TWS Neo? Well, it sports rather 14.2mm sound drivers, which are fairly large for earphones. With a frequency range of 20Hz-20000HZ, it's able to deliver audiophile-class audio quality. It's also expected to have IP54 water resistance, Bluetooth 5.2 support, and a 415mAh battery. The TWS Neo can deliver audio playback of up to 5.5 hours, with an additional 27 hours via the charging case.
In terms of features, the aptX Adaptive codec with Bluetooth 5.2 support allows you to get latencies as low as 88ms with the TWS Neo. It also has Slide Controls, a function to locate the earphone via the app, real-time translation, and more. There's no active noise cancelling, however, which is unfortunate.
vivo Malaysia hasn't announced the exact launch date and price yet, but the vivo X50, X50 Pro and X50 Pro Plus will be getting a global launch next month and we think it'll be announced then.
