The Meizu Zero smartphone has been unveiled, showcasing a smartphone with no physical buttons and slots equipped. To explain further, the device will not have physical volume buttons and charging slots. Instead, the volume will be controlled through the capacitive buttons on the side. Charging wise, it can only be charged exclusively via 12W Wireless Charger.

Xiaomi has posted a video of a foldable phone developed by Xiaomi which is called the Xiaomi Dual Flex, or the Xiaomi MIX Flex. Based on the video, the device can be seen used in the tablet configuration with its full function 7.3-inch touch display. Moments after, it is folded twice into a one-handed smartphone configuration. The device is also able to intelligently switch between the tablet and smartphone display mode in order to appropriately display contents on the screen.

Today, HMD Global has announced that the Nokia 3.1 Plus will be available in Malaysia soon across all the authorised Nokia retailers from 25 January 2019. If you're familiar with how Nokia naming its phones, the 3.1 Plus is a definitely an entry-level device and the price is really affordable - it's only RM699 and those who purchase it on a first-come-first-serve basis will have a free phone case, tempered glass screen protector and a 5200mAh powerbank.

Rumoured to be going official as soon as 24 January 2019, renders and even a video of the vivo Apex have appeared. Featuring an all smooth exterior with no ports or jacks (and a hidden pop-up periscope front camera like the vivo nex) the Apex appears to be all screen on the front and a smooth metallic bar on the back with dual rear cameras. There doesn't appear to be any rear fingerprint sensor either, so we assume that it will have an under display fingerprint scanner. No actual buttons were in sight either.

Asides from announcing their Exynos 7904, Samsung also announced their smallest 5.1mm ISOCELL Slim 3T2 Image Sensor Processor offering 20MP resolutions for more front punch display or hole-in-display smartphones. The ISP utilizes Samsung's Tetracell technology which merges four pixels as one, allowing for brighter and sharper pictures in low-light.

The wait is now over! Teased for over a month, the HONOR View20 has been unveiled in the City of Lights. The device features an impressive 48MP camera with AI High Clarity Photography and is the first device in the world to sport the Aurora Nanotexture. The device retails for RM1999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant and RM2499 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. The Malaysia release date for the device will be on the 26th of January 2019 at 1 Utama.

Recently Samsung filed a trademark for a software named the “Neuro Game Booster”, which we presume is their very own implementation of a game optimizer, similar to that of Huawei’s GPU Turbo Technology. Based on the list of goods and services section, there is a mention of an “Artificial Intelligence Software”, which means that this technology by Samsung could be using the Neural Processing Unit that is embedded in the upcoming Exynos 9820 chipset to increase performance while gaming.

Samsung India recently announced the new Galaxy M series (the Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30) and almost too coincidentally, Samsung have announced the Exynos 7904 for India's midrange. While it doesn't exactly confirm that the Galaxy M series will actually utilize this new octa-core chipset, the fact that both are set for India seems a bit too much of a coincidence.
