Today, vivo Malaysia has finally revealed the much-teased vivo V9 in Malaysia and it's slated for RM1399. As mentioned in their official Facebook page, those who pre-order the phone from 26 to 30 March 2018 will get a free bundled gift worth RM199 which includes a headset, a keychain, selfie stick and a 6-months extended warranty on the device. The Grab and Uber merger has been made official as Grab takes over Uber's South East Asia operations while Uber gets a 27.5% stake in Grab. In short, this means that Uber users and drivers in Malaysia will be migrated over to Grab and GrabFood will take over from Uber Eats after the Uber app shuts down on 8 April 2018 while the Uber Eats app shuts down in May. Until then, you can still use Uber Eats or call a car or drive using the Uber app, but these are the grace periods for you to make the move to Grab.

Right after announcing the HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+ last week, rumours from GizmoChina and an insider hint that the HTC U12+ could be the only flagship coming from HTC for 2018. No HTC U12 is expected but a HTC U12 Life midranger could come instead.

Apparently, there won't be any Huawei P20 Porsche Design tomorrow at the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro series launch in Paris. Instead, it will be the Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design as spotted on promo materials by GadgetMatch. Not much is known about this version asides from the fact that it will have the usual Porsche Design branding, but we expect it could come with a leather case like the Mate 10 Porsche Design and the 40MP + 20MP + 8MP triple rear camera setup expected to come on the P20 Pro.

Serial leakster @rquandt leaked from @tabtechGER what could be European store prices and tech specs for the upcoming Huawei P20 and P20 Pro. The rather official looking store tags seemingly confirm most of the previous rumours including the 40MP camera on the P20 Pro with the P20 at 649 euros (~RM3141) and P20 Pro at 899 euros (~RM4352) but you can see the available tech specs and our Malaysia Price estimates here.

So just over the week, the iF Design Awards is back once again honouring tech-manufacturers on their achievements. This time around, Sony is proud to announce that 19 of its products have won the iF Design Awards, including four prestigious Gold Awards. According to sources, the device's firmware builds - N960FXXE0ARB7 and N960FXXU0ARC5 have already started two weeks ahead compared to its predecessor.

Today, OPPO and Dolby Laboratories have announced that they will be working together and with this collaboration, Dolby's High-Efficiency Advanced Audio Coding (HE AAC), JPEG-HDR and other audio and video technologies can be used in OPPO devices in the near future.
