A company more known for their modems in Malaysia, ZTE has announced the world wide launch for their new flagship smartphone, the ZTE Axon 7 and its accompanying VR headset. It has some beefy flagship level specs, and even boasts some impressive audio thanks to a dedicated audio chipset. 

We have seen many leaks of it online, and now Samsung has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy C5 for the China market. It comes with a decent list of specification, all in a full metal body design.

With great anticipation of the Huawei P9 and P9 Lite making their debut on 28 May 2016 in Malaysia, Huawei Malaysia has decided to a super sales promotion starting on 12PM, this coming Saturday at Huawei Experience Store in KLCC, Gurney Plaza, and Aeon Bukit Indah. While people think tablets are meant for multimedia consumption, some government agencies around the world are actively using tablets as part of their day to day working tool. Samsung agrees with that stance, and just announced their first tablet with a built-in iris scanner – aptly named the Samsung Galaxy Tab Iris. 

A new rumour just popped up from the internet, where reports are saying that Samsung will be skipping the launch for the next Samsung Galaxy Note model this year, and instead will go straight into 2017 with the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. 

U Mobile recently launched their WiFi Calling services for subscribers of their post paid and prepaid plans here in Malaysia for free, no additional charges. It turns U Mobile Network towers across Malaysia into WiFi stations allowing you to get HD Voice calls over weak mobile connections as long as you are connected to a WiFi with Internet, even your local mamak's.

We have been talking on how 2017 will be Samsung’s launch year for their foldable smartphone but we have yet to see any real life examples on how they will implement it. OPPO just leapt over the competition as they have a working prototype running – and they have video too!
