So here we are again on another round of Apple iPhone 8 rumours, if you paid attention to them, many reports are saying that the 10th Anniversary iPhone will be a bezel-free device, citing from popular leaker KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, as well as Blooomberg, Barclays, and Japanese website Nikkei writing similar speculations, which makes sense for next year's anniversary and the fact that iPhone has been doing the similar designs for the past three years counting this year.

According to Huawei, they've managed to sell more than 9 million Huawei P9 smartphones and they are looking to exceed their projected 10 million sales volume. Featuring a unique Leica enabled dual camera monochrome mode only matched by the Huawei Mate 9 and Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9, the P9 has won various awards along with the hearts of black and white photography enthusiasts around the world.

While the Huawei Mate 9 and Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9 arrived with plenty of fanfare, Huawei have quietly listed the Huawei Mate 9 Lite on their global site. Featuring a dual rear camera, it appears that Huawei are reserving the monochrome mode for the higher-end versions as the 12MP + 2MP rear cameras instead focus on wide aperture or "bokeh" mode much like the Honor 8. The overall design is the same though but the Leica branding is gone as well. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet.

A new superpower in mobile processing will be heading to smartphones soon, as Qualcomm unveiled the new Snapdragon 835 SoC. The new processor will be built on Samsung’s 10 nanomtre FinFET process, which promises better performance and energy efficiency.

During the Young Social Entrepreneurs (YSE) 2016 programme event, which was organized by the Singapore International Foundation (SIF), BeBonobo, a trio of Malaysia-based youths Kay Kay Ong (27, Malaysian), Jasur Hasanov (26, Azerbaijani) and Madyan Aziz Hasan Malfi (24, Yemeni) have won a spot as one of the six winning teams, receiving seed funding of up to RM60000 and granted to join the YSE alumni of 480 young changemakers representing 23 nationalities.
