Canon just recently announced two new PowerShot G models - the Canon PowerShot G5 X and PowerShot G9 X, in line with premium digital compact cameras designed for simplicity of photo taking they offer a new optimized button layout for the user. Both models are equipped with Canon’s latest imaging technology and comes with a large 1.0” 20.2 megapixel CMOS sensor that renders higher sensitivity for superior image quality. They are currently priced at RM3199 (with GST) and RM1999 (with GST) respectively.

Yes, you read that right. A shop in China has figured out how to upgrade your Apple iPhone or iPad’s storage up to 128GB of space without causing it to brick on you. How did they do it? Hey, it’s China. They can do anything.
Apple products aren’t easy to modify, as they install a software protection that verifies the hardware in the right configuration. That’s not even the main problem, because you need special tools to work on the hardware and chips and it’s difficult to do so. Not to mention, the iPhone 5s’s motherboard is really tiny to be ejected out safely for the memory chip inside. According to the shop owner, he has very little trouble with iPads and the iPhone 6 is easier to handle but the iPhone 6s is still untested.

According to Weibo, there are rumours going around that analyst Pan Jiutang was heard to be saying Samsung is considering a 10% discount on the Samsung Galaxy 7 when it debuts next year.
Recalling the past, Samsung did the same strategy for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge by cutting 10% too, and it seems to be a good marketing strategy for the group in their last quarter which ended on a positive financial note thanks to the good sales of flagship devices. On the other hand, they’re doing this to also keep themselves in the competition with various Chinese smartphone manufacturers heating up price wars in retail and online channels.

A teaser image was released by Vivo recently showing two golden presents and one that is marked "X6", indicating that the Vivo X6 will be the new model to be revealed in the coming days of this month.
Focused on stability, speed, battery life and durability rumours indicate that the tech specs will pack a MediaTek 10-core Helio X20 processor, 4GB RAM, 1GB graphic RAM, 6-inch QHD AMOLED display with Force Touch, a 21MP main camera + 12MP selfie snapper and a huge 4000 mAh battery. Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop it may be equipped with a dedicated shutter button for faster picture snapping. The X6 might be available in different colours as well.

Sony Electronics have announced future firmware update for the α7 II cameras for free on 18 November 2015. The update will include an uncompressed 14-bit RAW image capture, faster phase detection AF and a more precise AF with lenses designed for interchangeable-lens cameras, which is suitable for Sony’s α mount system.
A 117-point focal plane phase detection AF sensor on the α7 II will be updated on the firmware, this is for and can be utilized with Sony’s extensive collection of A-mount lenses including the LA-EA3 mount adapter. Besides that, a customizable button can now be assigned to the MOVIE button.
