Thanks to the dual camera lens on the Xiaomi Redmi Pro, it has gotten a lot of buzz in China and hopefully we can get our hands on it sometime in Malaysia (whenever it will be). Due to the success of the Redmi Pro, a new rumour has circulated around the internet saying that the device might have a small brother coming soon, it's believed that the name could be called Redmi Pro Mini and here's we got so far:

The rumoured 2K display smartphone from honor and Huawei has been officially announced as the Honor Note 8. Featuring a 6.6-inch display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution it also packs in the latest Kirin 955 processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB storage for 2299 CNY (RM1394). Increasing storage to 64GB ups the price to 2499 CNY (RM1515) while the 128GB storage version is priced at 2799 CNY (RM1697). No Malaysia release dates yet but it will be available in China from 9 August 2016.

Last week was filled with a lot of new and official announcements but the most notable one remained Xiaomi's first laptop, the Mi Notebook Air, which for some reason was quickly followed up by another thin notebook computer called the Lenovo Air 13 Pro. Following up on these were the Xiaomi Redmi Pro smartphone with its dual rear camera, while the Android-based Blackberry DTEK50 was also announced. Other notable international announcements include the Samsung Galaxy Tab J for those budget tablet users out there.

Today, YouTube Malaysia has announced their collaboration with both Maxis and Sunway University to kick off the YouTube Broadcast Box roadshow. What's that? Well, the roadshow is designed to equip the next generations of Malaysian creators with the necessary knowledge to get a running start on YouTube, the Broadcast Box is a specially made mobile studio equipped with cameras, a green screen, and editing equipment tuned to help new creators shoot and upload videos on YouTube.
