Pictures of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro were leaked online yesterday with rumours of the chassis build in a metal form casing. It was also speculated that it will come in two versions, one with a fingerprint sensor and the other without one. On the other hand, it’s said that it will follow the same tech specs of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, so the tech specs are more or less likely to be:-
- Octa-core 2.2GHz CPU, the PowerVR G6200 GPU and MediaTek MT6795 SoC
- 2GB RAM
- 32GB storage
- 5.5-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution
- 13MP main and a 5MP front-facing camera
- Android 5.1 or Android 6.0
- 3060mAh battery

Yes, you read that right. The new Misfit Shine 2 doesn’t need to charge. How is that possible you ask? Well, it’s done by simply replacing the integrated replaceable battery that is inside the smartband. This thing can last for six months on a single battery!
The Shine 2 is your typical smartband that monitors your exercising activities and health. It is able to pair up with iOS and Android, it will monitor your workout, nudges you to walk around if you’re sitting too long, keeps track of your goals through a companion app, alerts you with incoming phone notifications, and even watches you when you sleep...just joking, it just keeps a record of your sleep time.

The LG G Vista 2 has been officially announced. The successor to last year’s LG G Vista, this beast packs some impressive features such as the Knock On and Knock Code (see video below for more information), however there is no price tag or Malaysia release date on when the Vista 2 would be available locally yet. So for now, here are the tech specs:-
- Octa-core processor (very likely a Snapdragon 615)
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB expandable internal memory
- 5.7-inch 1080p display
- 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera
- Knock On, Knock Code, QSlide, and Quick Memo feature
- A Built-in Stylus

There are pictures lurking around the internet claiming to be the unannounced Samsung Galaxy A9, and it’s equipped with a rotating camera at the top of the phone. But it’s also reported that it’s not an official one as it’s simply a clone from Alibaba all the way from China, so don’t be too excited about it yet. One last thing to note, some tech specs of the incoming Galaxy A9 are missing such as the camera MP. But we got the some information on the others, so here it is:-
- 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 620 processor
- 3GB RAM
- 32GB internal storage
- Android 5.1
A friendly reminder, keep in mind that these are just rumours, so take it with a healthy pinch of salt. Malaysia pricing details and release dates are yet to be announced as well, but do keep an eye out as will we!

Android users who have the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow patch can now make purchases (yes, purchase) with fingerprint authentication in the all new Google Play Store. This includes the LG Nexus 5X, Huawei’s Nexus 6P and Honor 7, the LEAGOO Elite 1, or basically any handset that’s getting the Marshmallow (see the complete list). The finger authentication is a part of the revamped Google Play Store, and it’s very likely to be more expansive than this feature is in iOS with many third-party program supports.

MIUI fans will be able to update their beloved phones through over-the-air (OTA) on the Updater app next Tuesday or visit the MIUI download page to download the ROM package.
