Today, Apple has announced that they will be releasing new 12-inch Macbook models. The new models are already available in the Apple online store now, with three different price tags for $1299 (around RM5011) for the 1.1GHz Core m3 model; $1599 (around RM6169) for 1.2GHz Core m5 model; and a $250 (around RM964) upgrade cost for the 1.3GHz Core m7.

The Motorola Moto G 2016 has apparently leaked as the Moto G4 with a clear view of the front and the top rear. Believe it or not, the front bottom part is where the fingerprint sensor will go this time around. From the look of it, the design does not include a home button. The back of the phone also shows a redesigned camera module with two new sensors at the top, which probably house either a laser auto-focus system or maybe the LG-style color spectrum sensor.

There is also a dual LED flash and the Motorola logo just right beneath the camera. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet, but with such rumours do take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.

There seems to be a constant stream of new promotions from U Mobile lately, from free data roaming to the extension of their 15GB P70 promotion. This time around, there is good news for Waze users as starting 19 April 2016 until 31 December 2016, all postpaid plans and U Mobile Unlimited Internet (UMI) plans, as well as prepaid broadband plans MB40 & MB68, will be able to enjoy free data for Waze usage. Huawei recently revealed the Huawei P9 and P9 Plus with their dual 12MP camera setup, featuring Leica-certified optics. However, Leica has always been better known as a high-end digital camera and interchangeable lens manufacturer, with next to no participation in phone cameras. So who actually made the dual camera system on the P9 and P9 Plus?

[Updated List] If you haven't heard yet, Huawei Malaysia had already released their most refined and productivity driven smartphone with the Huawei Mate 8 not too long ago. In conjunction to that, from 8 April until 30 June 2016, Huawei will be running a special trade-in program for your old smartphone to get rebates up to RM1850 to purchase the Huawei Mate 8. The introduction of the new Huawei P9 has taken the internet by storm, most notably the two rear Leica cameras with 12MP and f/2.2 aperture for each, it's designed to take colour images and the latter for monochrome photography. But how does it exactly work on the inside? This time, not by iFixit but IT168, a China-tech base site has shared their findings by tearing down the P9.

From the RM1 GrabCar promotion they started back in 7-13 April 2016, it does look like GrabCar is pleased with the results of their short term campaign. Since then they have revamped their base rate from RM1.40 to RM1 and also removed their minimum charge. These changes will take place immediately from 18 April 2016, and they will stick to this new fare structure from now on. With that, any short rides within 5KM are no longer subjected to the minimum charge (initially RM7) and should cost you way less than RM7 now. It seems like Digi have more surprises in store than we had expected. If you are a student, or maybe you are planning to get a postpaid line for your kid, this one offer from Digi doesn't sound too bad. For RM38/month you are getting a 3GB internet quota, free 100 minutes calls to all networks, free 100 SMS to all networks, and no extra charges after you hit your Internet quota. The only requirement is a valid student card, and of course, make sure you are not in any telco blacklist too. This promotion will only last for 12 months and after that, it will revert to the original RM48/month.

Think Meizu is done after revealing Meizu Pro 6 and M3 note? There's actually one more surprise from them. Scheduled on 25 April 2016, they are planning to unveil another smartphone called the Meizu M3, and this one is for the budget line-up.
