For those of you wondering if the LG G Flex, the curved smartphone from LG, is just another concept render then rest assured that it is indeed real as it appears on video. Some tech specs and features for the LG G Flex so far seem to match that of the LG G2 which include rear-mounted buttons and a 13MP rear camera. The screen remains the same curved 6-inch OLED display that is concave from top to bottom. While it hasn't been mentioned yet, we're expecting the LG G Flex to have similar tech specs like a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM. Unfortunately, the video does not reveal Malaysia release dates or pricing, only that it may be officially announced in South Korea soon, which could place it sometime in November 2013.

LG's take on the curved smartphone will most likely be called the LG G Flex with a number of images recently leaking. These renders show a similar concave surface but rather than side to side it is curved concave from top to bottom, which we must say certainly feels more natural than the previously curved smartphone. According to rumours the LG G Flex screen will measure 6 inches but there are no other tech specs and features available. According to previous reports, the Malaysia release date for the LG G Flex is expected from November 2013 but there are no details on specific dates or pricing just yet.

LG has recently announced the world's first flexible 6-inch OLED display which they say is headed for commercial smartphones. Tech specs and features show that the panels consist of plastic, can be bent from tip to tip without breaking and is concave from top to bottom with a 700mm radius. According to researchers while you can bend the plastic panels, the main advantage of a flexible display is that it is much thinner than current smartphone screen panels. The LG flexible display panel will be just 0.44mm thin which is both very light at 7.2g for the 6-inch panel and very durable. So far, the curved smartphone from LG using these flexible displays is set to be called the LG G Flex with a Malaysia release time expected from November 2013. No news on whether or not the panels are easy or expensive to make so we don't have any pricing details either, but we should find out more when the LG G Flex arrives next month.

The LG G Pad 8.3 has been officially announced, confirming many of the tech specs rumoured to come out with it. This includes the 8.3-inch display with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. According to LG this would make it the first 8-inch tablet with Full HD 1080p but we're expecting more such tablets to make an appearance soon. Other tech specs and features for the LG G Pad 8.3 include a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of LPDDR2 RAM, 16GB storage, 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera and 4600 mAh battery. The tablet will run on Android 4.2.2. At 216.8 x 126.5 x 8.3mm the LG G Pad 8.3 is bigger than most 7-inch tablets but may only just offer WiFi support for now, or at least until a cellular version comes out. No exact Malaysia release dates but the LG G Pad 8.3 will be made available to North America, Europe and Asia from Q4 of 2013. Prices will probably be released when the tablet gets launched.

The upcoming and rumoured LG G Pad 8.3 has just leaked in a press render and in a teaser video. While the teaser video didn't really show all that much about how the tablet would look like the press render reveals that it looks strikingly similar to the LG G2. Placed side by side with the soon to be released smartphone, the LG G Pad shows nearly the same super thin bezels and all the curves in the same places. Reports from Korea confirm that the tablet will offer an 8.3-inch screen that features 11920 x 1200 pixel resolutions. While it is expected to make an appearance at the IFA 2013 in September, no details on a release date in Malaysia or pricing just yet.

LG looks to be coming back into the mobile device limelight as rumours have surfaced about an LG G Pad 8-inch Android tablet. Featuring an 8.3-inch display with an awesome 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, the tablet looks to compete with the Apple iPad mini and other similarly sized tablets. Other tech specs for the tablet include a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 3G connectivity. Other features include the fact that it will be very thin and weigh almost nothing at all, along with nearly non-existing side bezels. While this may seem like more of a wish list than a real device sources are saying that it may come to light as early as September, probably during the IFA 2013 event. Any news about pricing and availability in Malaysia would likely get announced during the event.
