We have just gotten news that you can now buy the Nokia 6 in Malaysia! Well, they are not official sets, but are imported by local smart gadgets distributor, Satu Gadget. Pre-orders are now opened with expected delivery happening on 14th February 2017. The price to pay? RM1899.

The new wave of Nokia phones are expected to be out to the global market sometime this year, but we have early indication that the China-exclusive Nokia 6 may see a global release as well. The white colour Nokia 6 is said to be slated for a worldwide release, with a slightly higher price than the Chinese market.

2017 will be a big year for mobile, as Nokia is coming back. They have launched their Nokia 6 phone in China, and soon we will see the brand relaunch itself as it readies to release new models sometime during MWC 2017. Mark February 26 as the date of the event.

The recent news of the Nokia 6 made quite a few "mehs" with most of those directed at the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor it uses. Other tech specs like the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage didn't get as much flak so we thought we'd check out the Snapdragon 430 processor using our similarly powered ASUS ZenFone 3 Max 5.5 or ZC553KL. Granted, there are differences between the two phones which you can see with our comparison tool, but the Nokia 6 does have the same display and more memory, so the differences in performance should be negligable if not better.

HMD Global, the new owner of the Nokia smartphone brand have officially announced their first smartphone with the Nokia 6. Set for release in China for 1699 CNY (RM1098) it is powered by Android with an aluminium unibody, a 5.5-inch full HD display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor.

Nokia still lives! The most well-known mobile phone company in the world has just announced the Nokia N1 tablet. Powered by a 64-bit 2.3GHz Intel Atom Z3580 processor the tablet looks like an Apple iPhone 6 with an iPad mini 2 screen. This is probably because the body is a one-piece design made from aluminum with a fully laminated IPS panel and LED backlight display. It is also made in collaboration with Foxconn, the people who make Apple's various devices with Nokia providing the branding, design and quality control. The N1 tablet is even 6.9mm thin, exactly the same measurement as the iPhone 6 all for the rather low price of $249 (RM835). Check out the full tech specs and features below:
