Acer just unveiled its latest tablet, the Iconia X12, in Berlin. Designed with a 12.6-inch AMOLED display with 2.5K resolution, this tablet offers a sharp visual experience with a 60 Hz refresh rate and 400 nits brightness. So, what should you know about it?

Tech giants Acer has decided to unleash their latest line of hardware just a few days before the Computex 2017 in Taipei, the Casual Gaming Laptop, the Acer Nitro 5, entertainment-tablet, Iconia Tab 10 and Iconia One 10 followed by the 2-in-1 flexible laptop, the Acer Spin 10.

As Acer continues to show a wide variety of devices, a pair of new Acer Liquid Z6 smartphones an Iconia Talk S made their appearance at the IFA 2016 event. The Iconia Talk S functions as a 4G LTE tablet and a phone, while the new Liquid Z6 series has a high-definition IPS1 panel and an elegant 2.5D curved glass display. Just a day ahead of CES and already Acer are making announcements on gadgets and devices. This time around Acer have revealed the Acer Liquid Jade Primo smartphone featuring Microsoft Windows 10. Tech specs are listed below but from what we can see of the smartphone, it packs reasonably high-end features like a 21MP rear camera and a USB Type C port. The Acer Iconia One 8 on the other hand offers 16GB storage, an 8-inch 720p display and Android 5.1 for below $100. It is clearly meant for kids as it offers a Kids Center with simplified interface and pre-screened content for kids along with parental controls.

Acer recently announced a new addition to their Iconia range of tablets with the Acer Iconia Tab 10. Featuring a 10.1-inch display with full HD or 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution covered by Gorilla glass and additional Dolby audio tech, the tablet comes in two flavours. The higher-end version has tech specs that include a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8217 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, 5700 mAh battery, 2MP camera and is priced at $250 (RM928). The lower-end version goes for $200 (RM742) but tech specs include a 1.3GHz processor, 1280 x 800 pixel resolution display, 1GB RAM and 16GB storage. Likely competitors include the IPRO Livepad 8.9 and others competitors which are priced even lower than the lower-end version. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details but it should arrive eventually. 

The Acer Iconia A1-830 tablet was recently launched in Malaysia by Acer Malaysia. Bearing the same metal unibody and looks as the Apple iPad mini, the main differences between the two are that the Iconia A1-830 packs in a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor and uses Android. To top it all off, Acer Malaysia are pricing the tablet at RM599 so if you've liked the way Apple made the iPad mini design but wanted an Android system with a more stable Intel processor, then this is certainly one tablet you should consider. We managed to get a hands-on with the Acer Iconia A1-830 and it certainly looks good.

With Computex set to happen just tomorrow, Acer has revealed 5 new Acer Liquid smartphones, the Acer Iconia 8 tablet and the Acer Liquid Leap smartband. The Acer Liquid smartphones include the Acer Liquid X1, Liquid E700, Liquid E600, Liquid Jade and Liquid Z200. While there wasn't any specific Malaysia release dates or pricing, all of these devices are expected in Q3 of 2014. Tech specs and features for the 7 devices are listed as below:
