Not even launched yet, but the latest processor chip Dimensity 9400 has set a new record in AnTuTu benchmarks. Through the device vivo X200 Pro driven by the new Dimensity 9400, it has managed to obtain a high score of 3007853 points. So, what should you know about it?

Around the same time last year, MediaTek unveiled the performance of its not-debuted-yet Dimensity 9000 chip by posting the first 1 million points result scored on AnTuTu. This year, it follows the same promoting strategy for the upcoming successor, Dimensity 9200. The result proves that the chip is worthy of powering future flagships.

If you recall, Qualcomm announced that the next-gen Snapdragon will have a new name. While there's no official word yet, it's very likely to be called Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. On that note, the chipset may have gone through a benchmark test on AnTuTu with over 1 million points.

Benchmark scores aren't everything, but they can tell us how well a device could perform. And when it comes to the Snapdragon 888 chipset, things are looking promising. Qualcomm has just shared a comprehensive list of benchmark scores, showcasing the prowess of the new chipset.

Rumours of new Samsung Exynos chipsets have been around for some time and so far we know that there are two new models on the way. The Exynos 1080 is one of it and could be featured first in the vivo X60. Now, the chipset was found in a benchmark for a new phone on AnTuTu.

After being spotted on AnTuTu, the Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone has appeared again on Geekbench before it launches on 22 July. The device has scored a remarkable 648,871 on AnTuTu thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset. With Geekbench, the device has scored 4556 in the single-core test and 13,438 in the multi-core test, proving itself as a gaming device to be excited for.

Can you believe it? We are already in July and it has been a bizarre year for all of us. Despite that, the smartphone industry still continues to strive for perfection and AnTuTu just posted the Top 10 Best Performing Android Smartphones of June 2020 (globally) so far.

When it comes to smartphone chipsets, MediaTek does not get the same recognition as Qualcomm by the fans, even though the former has improved over the years (and nobody listens). To provide future smartphone brands with good stuff, MediaTek has just recently announced a two new gaming-centric SoCs - the Helio G90 and G90T.

Several charts released by the benchmarking company shared online covers the ranking of smartphones that were put through its benchmark test last year. Antutu is a favourite platform for owners (and reviewers alike) to test and see if their new smartphone has passed the test to be one of the best in its class.
