Back in March, well-known Apple analyst Kuo Ming-Chi predicted that the company could be developing up to six new products featuring mini-LED panels. And it looks like the prediction may not be off the mark. A new report claims that Apple could be ready to invest big into LED panel factories in Taiwan, with the estimated sum at NTD 10 billion (~RM1.43 billion).

It was only a few days ago that Apple released their latest iOS 13.5 and iPadOS 13.5.1 for the iPhone and iPad users globally, but here comes another one with iOS 13.5.1 software update patch just a few hours ago. According to the description, the new software update patch provides important security updates which will not allow users to jailbreak the iPhones anymore.

Chipsets used by smartphones are getting smaller and smaller nowadays, with the current smallest being only 7nm and it's from Apple and Huawei. The reasons for making them so tiny are because the tinier the better for power efficiency and silicon area size. Earlier, the largest chipmaker TSMC has taken on the challenge by making a 3nm process and planned to release it by the end of 2020. It is said that the iPhone 12 series would still be using the Lightning port, but it will be the last series to have it. According to a tipster named Fudge on Twitter, the successors of the iPhone 12 series will go 'portless', which means that the devices will mainly depend on wireless charging to get powered up.

Based on a report by the AndroidPolice.com, it seems that HTC could be working on a pair of wireless earbuds that look similar to a black Apple AirPods. The only difference between HTC’s earbuds and the Apple AirPods is that HTC’s charging case opens lengthwise instead of flipping the top open.

For once, predictions seem to be mixed when it comes to the augmented reality glasses that Apple is developing. A few days ago, it was reported that well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that the Apple Glasses will arrive in 2022. However, another source now claims that it will be available in 2021 instead.

It looks like Ubisoft wants to flex its legal muscles. Reports say that the game publisher has sued Google and Apple for a mobile game called Area F2 that is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The game has been accused of being a clone of the highly successful Rainbow Six: Siege (R6S) first-person shooter and Ubisoft is not happy.

This device project has been in a long development ever since Apple set their eyes on Augmented Reality (AR) and according to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the Apple Glasses is scheduled for 2022.
