It has been rather quiet for the ASUS Zenfone 6 despite the fact that it is currently DxOMark’s selfie king with its 48MP motorized flip camera. However, the folks at @JerryRigEverything have seen fit to put it through their usual durability tests which include scratch tests, a lighter test and bend tests. They even played around with the aforementioned motorized flip camera, a feature which most of the time is quite fragile.

To kick off Computex 2019, ASUS has announced that today marks their 30th anniversary. They took this chance to showcase various electronic devices such as computer motherboards all the way to smartphones. That being said, ASUS are commemorating their anniversary this year with special edition devices such as the ZenFone 6 Edition 30 smartphone, ZenBook Edition 30 laptop as well as the Prime X299 Edition 30 motherboard.

The Asus Zenfone 6 starting from the price of 499Euros(~RM2328) has been officially unveiled in Valencia Spain, and it comes with various interesting features such as a rear camera that flips up into a front-facing selfie camera, 5000mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge 4.0, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset.

Key specs of the ASUS Zenfone 6 was revealed today by the Foreign Trade Association (FTA) while announcing the winners of the Design & Innovation Awards which happened to include the ASUS Zenfone 6. ASUS’s upcoming device is due to be revealed tomorrow, 16th May.

The aforementioned camera is designed in a way that that lets it flip to the front in order to take a selfie, instead of having the traditional notch at the top of the display.

We’re only a few days away from the launch of the much anticipated ASUS Zenfone 6 and a leaked hands on video of the device has surfaced online. The video shows brief hands-on shots of the device, showcasing a dual slider mechanism on the device.

The ASUS Zenfone 6 is due to be launched next week on the 16th of May. It has some pretty significant upgrades from its predecessor, the ASUS Zenfone 5z. Pricing of the Asus ZenFone 6 series, has been leaked ahead of its release schedule of 16 May 2019 starting 19990 NTD(~RM2680), 23990 NTD(~RM3216), and 29990 NTD(~RM4021) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB storage variant respectively.

ASUS has just shared another teaser for their upcoming device, the ASUS Zenfone 6. The teaser shows off the outline of the device with no notches, cutouts and barely there bezels.

Things are getting pretty interesting in the war against the notches and this time the latest innovation comes from ASUS. From leaked renders by Twitter leaker @evleaks show that the upcoming ASUS Zenfone may sport a dual slider. It was not specified which model of the ASUS Zenfone this could be but it might just be the ASUS Zenfone 6 as the team who created these renders are the same people who designed the ASUS Zenfone 5.
