As the COVID-19 cases continue to hike, our government has announced the latest MCO 3.0 (Movement Control Order) for six districts in Selangor including Hulu Langat, Petaling, Gombak, Klang, Kuala Langat, and Sepang. Starting from 6 May to 17 May 2021, the people from these districts are not allowed to travel interstate and inter-district. However, for those who are to attend vaccine appointments, exceptions will be made.

Based on a statement by Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar, it seems that roughly 1.4 million Malaysians who registered for the COVID-19 vaccine did not provide additional information about themselves other than confirming their identity via NRIC. Citizens who did not provide the app with the necessary information might end up needing to get the vaccine at a later date, as some of the information might be required in order to set up an appointment.

Just a few hours ago, an official National COVID-19 Immunisation Program handbook was launched. It was officiated by our Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and a website was created for it too where you can visit and download it as an e-book.

Previously, we reported that the COVID-19 vaccine registration will be available on the MySejahtera app. With this, the government just recently confirmed that the app will remind Malaysians under the National COVID-19 Immunization Program for a second round.
