Besides relaunching the Twitter Blue subscription, the social media platform could soon allow users to type up to 4,000 characters in a tweet. It's worth mentioning that the current limit is 280, so it's a pretty big increment by the time it rolls out.

At the end of last month, Twitter decided to hold off on the relaunch of Twitter Blue. Allegedly, this was because Elon Musk didn't want to pay the 30% cut that the Apple App Store collects from all apps with transactions. However, it looks like the company will relaunch it soon.

Twitter is rolling out a new feature under the reign of Elon Musk. The CEO tweeted an announcement on the arrival of "a software update that will show your true account status". According to the report, it's said to be a feature that tells you if you're shadowbanned.

Previously, Elon Musk was quite "emotional" about Apple's alleged plan to remove Twitter from the Apple App Store. But it seems that it has been cleared out. This was after Musk had met up with Tim Cook recently.

Twitter has delayed the relaunch of its Twitter Blue subscription to make various other changes to the service, as well as to avoid paying Apple’s 30 per cent App Store cut. Moreover, the revamped Blue subscription may not be available as an in-app purchase on the Twitter iOS app when it relaunches on the Apple App Store.

Elon Musk might have figured out a solution to solve the Twitter Blue fiasco. The current Twitter CEO says that the company will implement a new manual authentication process, which he described as "painful, but necessary."

Previously, we reported that Twitter may be working on reintroducing end-to-end encryption for Direct Messages (DMs), and now, it is pretty much confirmed by the company’s owner Elon Musk. Moreover, the social media platform is also adding encrypted video and voice calling between accounts too.

Elon Musk has announced that he is planning to reduce his time at Twitter and eventually find a new leader to run his newly-acquired company. However, he clarified that this may “take some time” and that he will continue to run the social media company until it is in a strong place.

The Elon Musk era of Twitter is now in full swing and the world’s richest man has already put his stamp on the social media platform that he purchased in October. The latest change that Musk has implemented in Twitter is to remove the ‘Twitter for iPhone’ and ‘Twitter for Android’ labels which are shown at the bottom of tweets.

If you were hoping that Elon Musk was joking about paying for verification, we have bad news. Now that Musk owns Twitter, all his plans will likely take priority. As such, it's now confirmed that Twitter would cost a monthly subscription fee for verification marks.
