These days, every platform wants to add a shopping feature. Instagram added a Shop tab last year before WhatsApp started allowing people to sell things directly through its app. Both Facebook isn't the only corporation that wants to sell you stuff, Google wants to do it too with YouTube.

Back in November 2019, Google announced a deal to acquire Fitbit for USD 2.1 billion (~RM8.47 billion). That didn't happen because US regulators claimed that Google was aiming to use the data from Fitbit users to sell ads. Unfortunately, Google seems to have won this time, as it has successfully completed the move.

Earlier, a rumour has suggested that a few smartphone brands will be launching their first foldable smartphones in 2021 and Xiaomi is among the list. Today, a tipster has shared some latest information with us claiming that Xiaomi will indeed launch their first foldable in 2021, and the launch could happen early next year.

Recently, short-form video contents are becoming a trending style that creators and users will look up to when they are browsing on each social media platform especially on TikTok and Instagram. Today, Google is reported on testing a new mobile search feature that would surface TikTok and Instagram videos in their own dedicated carousel.

Now, the good news has arrived with the CEO confirming that the company is indeed working on a smartwatch after all. Other than that, the CEO has also revealed that the wearable will come with Google's Wear OS.

The policy changes to the Apple App Store has been an inconvenience for a few companies. Back in August, Apple announced that Google Stadia wasn't allowed on the App Store due to a certain policy. But it looks like Google has finally got a workaround that will bring the platform to iOS.

As far as software updates go for Android phone, they unfortunately don't last very long. At most, it can live up to 3 years with a pure stock Android OS but nowadays they don't really hang around in Malaysia anymore (because Motorola "died" and there are no Pixel phones here officially). Also, Android users would have to wait for a long time for a new software update on customized Android updates.
