As many of you know, the free 15GB cloud you get with your Google account is shared across Google Drive, Gmail, and Photos. Interestingly, photos and videos you upload to Google Photos didn't count, which has been a boon for those who have a lot of those. But Google has announced that it will be changing that policy starting 1 June 2021.

Based on a statement by Twitter user @MishaalRahman, it seems that the Google One subscription could allow users to edit their photos directly via Google Photos. While there is no official information in regards to when the aforementioned feature will be available in Malaysia, we do know that the feature could allow users to apply filters and presumably more once it is officially available for the public.
